At a child’s birthday party, Jyoti Kumar expected the usual banter. Instead, he found himself surrounded by parents peppering him with questions about the stock market! Once word spread that he worked in the markets, a subject that fascinates and intimidates in equal measure, Jyoti found himself trying to simplify complex concepts and help parents make sense of them.

That moment planted the seed for SAFE Analytics. Built for individual investors, SAFE Analytics’ B2C portal offers automated portfolio management. For derivative traders, the platform delivers advanced analytics and auto-trading solutions.

Simplifying something as vast and dynamic as the stock market is no easy task. To take this further, Jyoti turned to AI Agents, to enable investors to understand unconventional indicators and make decisions through natural, chat-based interactions rather than rigid menus. This approach is especially valuable for traders who need real-time clarity under pressure.

To make this a reality, Jyoti and his team enrolled in the AI Agents Masterclass, in association with Google for Startups, to explore the full potential of agentic systems.

During the masterclass, the team gained a deep understanding of LLM boundaries, context layering and precise prompting. This shifted their architecture from siloed APIs to true agentic orchestration. They also learnt how to wire APIs into MCP-server agents and use no-/low-code tools like n8n, enabling a move toward conversational trading experiences. Built on their JSON APIs for real-time stock data, the agent can detect user intent, fetch relevant data, perform currency conversions, and present insights in clear, human-readable responses.

Today, the team is piloting the agent with select customers. Early feedback looks promising! Users are especially highlighting its ease of use and has already inspired the integration of real-time news sentiment into portfolio analysis. The experience has validated SAFE Analytics’ direction—and the team is now gearing up to launch an AI-driven portal built for the next generation of traders.
