AI Agents in the Making - Startups to Watch!
AI agents are transforming how startups build and scale. These autonomous, multi-step workflows are helping early-stage companies create AI-native, globally competitive solutions while staying lean and focused.
In 2025, in collaboration with Google for Startups, we launched the AI Agents Masterclass, a two-day program across seven cities that guided over 300 startups in designing and prototyping production-ready AI agents. Beyond the classroom, we nurtured a community of AI-forward startups, providing mentorship and hands-on support throughout the year.

While some startups like Ayu Health, Earth5R, and KrattosAI have already demonstrated clear use cases and business impact, others are still shaping their agents that are showing strong early signals. In this post, we highlight four such startups whose work is worth watching as their ideas take shape.
Interactext is reimagining how students learn by turning traditional textbooks into interactive, immersive experiences powered by augmented reality and AI. Addressing low engagement and poor retention from static learning materials, the team is building an AI-driven platform where students will be able to scan textbook pages using a smartphone or tablet and see content come alive through 3D models, animations, simulations, and mixed reality experiences. At the core of this approach is an AI agent being developed to digitize content captured from the physical environment and adapt it into grade-appropriate, personalized learning aids—surfacing definitions, related content, quizzes, and explanations in real time.
Robo Bionics is building a rehabilitation ecosystem to help people with amputations remain employable and live independent, fulfilling lives. With a lean team, the founders are working on an AI agent to handle repetitive but essential operational tasks such as customer follow-ups, warranty reminders, bank reconciliation, sales automation, and lead classification—freeing up bandwidth to focus on product innovation and deeper customer engagement as the company scales.
FindMyHostel is a platform for discovering affordable hostels and paying guest (PG) accommodations. The team is building an AI agent designed to act as a virtual property assistant for both hostel owners and tenants. For owners, the agent is being developed to automate enquiry qualification, payment reminders, and maintenance coordination. For tenants, it will answer listing queries, assist with bookings, and offer multilingual voice and chat support in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, and English. The agent is being integrated with FindMyHostel’s CRM and WhatsApp systems to support an end-to-end conversational experience across the rental lifecycle.
Clofio helps companies reduce unnecessary cloud spend. To support this mission, the team is building 6gnal (pronounced Signal), an AI agent designed to track pricing changes, best practices, compliance updates, and tooling signals across the cloud ecosystem. By filtering noise and delivering role-specific, actionable insights, 6gnal is intended to help teams avoid reactive decisions and hidden costs. The platform is being developed as a fully self-hosted solution deployable within a customer’s VPC, ensuring control over data while transforming fragmented information into cost-focused intelligence.
As these agents continue to take shape, they offer a window into the potential of AI agents to transform how startups operate, engage users, and deliver impact. We look forward to seeing how these teams turn early promise into real-world outcomes that redefine their industries.
